Don't have a pic to go along with this story (darn!) but I had to post this because Noah will definitely get a kick out of this when he gets older.
Noah has had a runny nose for about a week now. Its this really annoying constant drip. But, tonight he discovered a helpful use for the slim, namely, it makes sliding your fingers in and out of your nose much easier. I was sitting on the couch and he walks up to me with his pudgy little finger stuck WAY to far up his nose. I say, "Gross, son!", and pull it out. Apparently, that somehow translated into a game. He would stick one finger up his nose, I would do the obligatory squeal and pull it out, then he would stick another finger up his nose, and so on. Until he surprised himself with the grand finale. He figured out that he could stick 2 fingers in AT THE SAME TIME. With the squeal of excitement that rattled my windows you would have thought he just won a million dollars. I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants (hey, don't judge! I've had a baby!). With the amount of in and out his poor little nostrils took tonight, I am going to have to keep a serious lookout for any other foreign objects that may find their way up there. Sigh.

Repenting...again
I have been a seriously loser mother the past couple of months. I downloaded all the pics off of my camera and I only have 8 pictures from Noah's 1st B-day until now. He has grown so much and is doing so many new things and I haven't recorded any of it. Grr!! So, henceforth, I am repenting of my evil ways and vow to do better. Hopefully.
I took these pics a few weeks ago. I love the relationship these two have. Noah gets so insanely excited when he hears Chris unlocking the door when he comes home from work. Chris has had to get in the habit of opening the front door VERY slowly in order to not knock Noah out. Noah LOVES to wake Daddy up on the weekends. His favorite thing is to sit on Chris's head and bounce up and down. What a way to start the day.

Chris's mom bought Noah a really nice wagon a couple of months ago. He LOVES it but unfortunately we haven't gotten a lot of use out of it so far because I wasn't feeling great. But, I have been pulling it into the living room and he will crawl in and out of it for hours. He loves to open and close the door on it. One day, I decided to make him a clubhouse out of the ginormous box it came in. He LOVED it. He played in that thing for days until it almost completely fell apart.

Noah's newest obsession is shoes. He will put on mine and Chris's shoes and laboriously walk all over the house. I took this pic just a few days ago. I thought his dad would really appreciate it.

He has added a few other words to his vocabulary, even if he has only said them once and refuses to say them again. He has said nose, cheese, and amen. I am really working on the amen but so far all I have been able to get is "Aaaaaaa". Oh well, close enough for now.
As for news on Peanut (aka. Baby #2), all is well so far. My doc was a little concerned about the heartbeat at the 1st ultrasound so I had another one a few weeks later and he said everything appeared to be fine but that they would keep an eye on it over the next few weeks. A little stressful, but I am trying not to worry too much about it. I am due Jan 9th but, of course, Chris is hoping for a December baby for the tax break. That's my Chris. I am not looking forward to ringing in my 30th B-day being 9 months pregnant but, oh well.
Life is good!
